Summary: This EO prohibits the issuance of any new rule, including via publication in the Federal Register, until a Trump Administration appointee reviews and approves such issuance. The EO also directs the withdrawal of any rules sent to the Federal Register but not yet published. In addition, the EO suggests postponing the effective date of any new rule published in the Federal Register for 60 days to provide opportunity for additional public comment and review.
